Popular local Councillors Robert Alden, Gareth Moore and Bob Beauchamp (all Erdington, Conservative) are delighted to invite local residents to the Erdington Ward Committee Big Lunch event to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. On Sunday June 3rd a special Jubilee lunch for local residents has been arranged in Rookery Park. Taking place between 12pm and 3pm residents can come along and enjoy a community lunch for Erdington residents.
The event has been organised by popular local Councillors Robert Alden, Bob Beauchamp and Gareth Moore, with the help of the Erdington Town Centre Partnership and Erdington Constituency officers.
On June 3rd, Rookery Park will be having a royal make over, for a Jubilee Big Lunch. There will be a Hog Roast (just like there was at the last Diamond Jubilee party in Erdington, 1897 for Queen Victoria), hot potatoes , Ice Creams, face painters and family entertainment. Please feel free to bring your own food for yourself or to share as well.
